Passage: Ephesians 6:10-18

In the parable of the two sons, Jesus contrasts empty promises with obedient action, showing that doing the Father’s will means more than mere words. Paul urges us to intercede for all, offering prayers that God’s gracious will — our salvation through Christ — may be proclaimed in every nation. We learn that true obedience is rooted in the Gospel. God’s will is done when His mercy transforms our hearts and our prayers to desire His will.
