What to Expect

The Community Enrichment Center’s (CEC) mission is to restore hope, share God’s love and change lives. Originally formed in 1988 to provide grocery assistance to low-income families in Northeast Tarrant County, the CEC has expanded our services to serve victims of domestic violence, homeless and low-income families and individuals in Tarrant County. Today, the CEC works directly with these families and individuals to move them out of crisis by providing safe housing, food, counseling, high school equivalency education classes, financial coaching, free income tax preparation and employment readiness resources. These tools and Christ-centered, fully-integrated resources help the CEC to restore hope and guide families toward a solid foundation and bright future which will end the cycle of domestic violence and poverty.

Volunteers at the CEC have a huge impact on families and strengthen our mission to empower families. The CEC's goal is to meet clients where they are and give them tools to build a brighter future for tomorrow.
