Passage: Mark 5:25-34

The bleeding woman, considered unclean under Jewish law, reaches out to Christ in faith and is made whole. Her healing is not merely physical but also a sign of Jesus’ authority to cleanse sinners and restore them to the community of faith. Like her, we approach Christ not by our worthiness but by faith in His righteousness. Jesus' words, “Your faith has made you well,” point to the justifying faith by which we receive salvation—not by works, but by grace through faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).
