Passage: Ephesians 5:15-17
Too often we fall into the trap of thinking that the Gospel is something we take with us, like an object, or a program, when in reality its something we share in conversation, or live out in gracious interactions with others. Where we go, as disciples of Jesus, the Gospel goes with us. So, as we live out our daily lives, we have opportunity to live out the Gospel. Therefore, the Church is less about distributing the Gospel and more about planting the Gospel by being good-news presence in the vast array of places God calls us to be every day. As we go, we then plant the seed of good news, hope, and joy in the lives of those we interact with, not so much distributing something, like a pamphlet, but planting a seed, starting a process of growth and transformation that last a life-time.
