Passage: Mark 4:35-41
How many times has the worry and concern over a struggle in our life been significantly larger than the actual struggle? Over and over again throughout Scripture, we read of God telling His people, “Do not be afraid”. Even the angels of God bringing news to God’s people have to remind them, “Do not be afraid”. As disciples of Jesus, we have the very God who made all things dwelling within us, we are led by His Spirit, and we have the promise of eternal life in the resurrection ahead of us. His command to not be afraid is our encouragement to face whatever may come, knowing with Christ in us, there is no storm of life we cannot make it through.
