Passage: Matthew 25:31-46
The opposite of love is not hate; it is indifference, or apathy. Yet, as disciples of Jesus, we are called to love one another, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. In the freedom of the Gospel, apathy does not stand a chance as the love of Christ compels us share that love with the world around us. One of the greatest ways we can overcome the modern day giant of apathy is by doing what we have been called to do as disciples of Jesus – love those God has placed in our lives.
