We hear so much about the love of God in Christ Jesus that we often misunderstand the absolutism of God’s truth and grace in Jesus Christ alone. In this passage Jesus makes clear that it is only through Him, through the Door, that we find life and salvation, hope and freedom. Everything else in this life cannot provide what only He can provide to us, and He simply encourages us to believe in Him.
