Our generosity as disciples of Jesus comes from the transformation of our hearts, not the guilt or burden of obligation. Yet, so many of us struggle to live out this generosity in our daily lives. As we read through the Scriptures, though, it is made evident that generosity stems from gratitude towards God for the incredible things He has already done in our lives, and in faith for the incredible things He will continue to do in our lives. Generosity as disciples of Jesus is not a measure of how much we can give, but is an outpouring of gratitude for the incredible blessings we’ve already been given.
