Passage: Psalms 111:1-10
Palm Sunday always rides the line between Jesus’ celebratory and triumphal entry into Jerusalem and those who were there scheming and orchestrating His eventual crucifixion. The tension is thick. We have similar moments in our lives, when we are in transition and are given the opportunity to strengthen our faith or to neglect it and push it aside. In these moments, the psalmist reminds us of the Lord’s great works not only in our world but in each of our lives. He has redeemed us and established us into a new covenant in His Son, Jesus Christ. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,” and we further that wisdom by continuing to learn and follow His instructions.
