Based on the communications request, this event is a congregational celebration welcoming Deaconess Alma Zamora into her new ministry at Peace, including her installation during worship and a reception where the congregation can meet her and her family. The event is intended to celebrate her call and support Peace's growing Hispanic Ministry.

Deaconess Alma Zamora Installation & Welcome Reception

Join us as we give thanks to God and celebrate an exciting new chapter in the life of Peace Lutheran Church! On Sunday, August 9, we will joyfully install Deaconess Alma Zamora as she begins serving among us, leading and supporting our Hispanic Ministry and helping us continue to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and move the mission forward in our community.

Deaconess Alma will be installed during both worship services, and everyone is invited to stay during the Bible study hour for a special Welcome Reception in the lobby. Enjoy light refreshments while taking the opportunity to meet Alma and her family, introduce yourself, and personally welcome them into the Peace family.

As we celebrate God's calling on her life, we also invite you to bring a card or small gift as a way to encourage Alma and let her know how excited we are to partner with her in ministry.
