Intentional Generosity

In the days of the stagecoach, first class ticket holders could remain seated no matter what happened. Second class ticket holders had to get off the stagecoach if there were any obstacles or needed repairs. Third class ticket holders were required not only to get off the stagecoach, they had to push, pull, haul, get dirty, do whatever it takes to get the stagecoach down the road.

Because of Jesus, we are first class citizens of heaven. And God has graciously issued us third class tickets: the mission and ministry of the church will not move forward unless we roll up our sleeves and get involved. We intentionally give of ourselves for the sake of others.
