● Annual registration for Children’s Ministry = forms are now available in Sunday School or childcare.

● All are welcome to the Wednesday Night Fellowship Suppers that are served from 5:30-6:30 pm. This week’s menu includes spaghetti, side salad, taco salad, nachos, PB&J. Cost is $2 per person.

● CDT Mentor Training will be held in Youth Rec on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 7 pm.

● 2nd Grade Bible Presentation will be during all worship services next weekend, Aug. 30-31. If you have a second grader, please contact Glenna Seter in the Church Office with the correct spelling of your child’s name and the service time that your child will be attending.

● Preschool & Elementary Sunday School Meet the Teacher, Open House & Orientation will be Sunday, Aug. 31 at 9:30 am in the Sunday School classrooms. Parents, join your children in their classrooms, and then stay for orientation. Breakfast snacks and drinks will be served.

● Youth Christian Discipleship Classes begin Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 7-8:30 pm. Each week be sure that you check in at the table just outside Youth Rec.

● Puppet Team will meet on Sept. 3 from 7-8 pm in the Puppet Room upstairs. This is open to anyone 3rd grade and older.

● Peace Life Fellowship Caribbean Cruise will be Feb. 22-March 1. A $250 deposit by Sept. 7 holds your place on the boat. A bus to the Port of Galveston is available for an additional fee. For more details, contact Maxine Kamp at mkk2745@aol.com or (817) 723-1806.  

● Lutheran Women’s Missionary League next monthly mission quilting is Saturday, Sept. 13 in Youth A&B.

● Revolve Tour for girls in 6th-12th grades will be in Dallas on Sept. 19-20. If you are interested, talk to DCE Rebecca (becky@peacechurch.org or (817) 284-1677 x206).

● Mark your calendars:

Trunk or Treat will be Saturday, Oct. 25.

Kaffee Haus will be Nov. 7 & 8.

● Sr. High GLORYbound08, Texas District Youth Gathering will be Nov. 28-30. Contact DCE Rebecca for more info (becky@peacechurch.org or (817) 284-1677 x206).
