BULLETIN BOARDS
Here is one for you if you’re creative. We would like someone
to create and do bulletin boards for us. They change often and
there is usually a topic your can use to guide you. If you
would be interested in this give us a call in the office.
MAKING COPIES
Many copies need to be made before the newsletter is mailed out or
the weekend worship bulletins are completed. So, we could use your
help. If you’re willing to help, there’s good news. Our copiers are
very easy to use and we’d be happy to teach you how to use them.
FILING
AND FOLDING
Once all that paper is copied and all the data has been entered into
the computer…...we need to file it away! This is an easy job
and we have lots of filing to do. Four worship services makes for
lots of bulletins! We need individuals to fold and assemble them.
Call and see if anyone has a job for you.
DATA ENTRY
Can you use a computer? We need people who can do data entry.
We use a data base for most of our information. If you can do
light typing and can use a computer, give us a call. No
experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn.
RECEPTIONIST
Answering the phone is a big job here at Peace. We have many
volunteers to answer phones and greet everyone who comes in our
office. Some volunteers share a day and some work more than
one day a week. Our receptionists make every effort to help office
visitors feel welcomed and at home, whether they are greeting people
who are in the office to meet with a staff member or assisting
someone in need of a phone number.
NEWSLETTER MAILING
Each week we have a group of volunteers who have a lot of fun
getting the weekly newsletter assembled. If you would like to
join in the fun with some other wonderful people call the
office and let them know. We will have a seat for
you there.
LIGHT BOOKKEEPING
Do you have experience in bookkeeping? Maybe you could help
with light bookkeeping in the office. Check out the finance
board to see what else might be available. When the tellers
are finished the job is not done! There is more! Call
Karen Meissner and see if she could use your help.
