Pastor Waiser has worn most every Mission and Ministry hat at Peace in over 34 years of service at Peace. Currently, he leads the Renewal in Christ weekend, which over 300 of the people of Peace have attended. He is very involved in Peace's International Missions whether in Honduras, or India, or Sudan. You will see him regularly in weekend worship, as well as teaching Crossways on Thursday evenings. Crossways is a 60-unit overview course that goes from Genesis to Revelation, and is taught in four 15-week semesters with a break during the summer.

Your Peace staff is committed to on-going growth in their own faith and faithfulness as they walk beside you on this journey of faith. Together we are following Jesus on an adventure that conforms us all more and more to the image of Christ for the sake of others. Please pray for us as we also are praying for you.

Rev. Steven L. Wiechman, Administrative Pastor

Steve's main area of focus is to provide staff leadership and help to set direction and vision for the congregation along with Pastor Waiser. He regularly preaches and will often teach at the 9:45 am Adult Faith Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings. He is one of the primary teachers for the parents in our Christian Discipleship Training (CDT) year which leads to the confirmation rite. He also oversees the Christian Care Ministry which seeks to do three main things: 1) equip and encourage each member of Peace to care for and be cared for by a few others, 2) minister to and care for the people of Peace who cannot make it to worship, and 3) minister to and care for the people of Peace who are experiencing a trial or big change.

You might want to contact Pastor Wiechman if you would like to volunteer in the Christian Care Ministry, want to have someone visit a hospitalized or shut-in member, have a question about baptism or want to schedule a baptism, want to find out how to get married at Peace, or need to seek Christian counseling.
